The son of a top Hollywood actor who was arrested after a woman’s torso was found in a dumpster near his Los Angeles home was caught on camera disposing of what appears to have been part of her body in the parking lot of a California shopping center.
Surveillance footage obtained by TMZ shows Samuel Haskell IV parking his white Tesla next to a dumpster in Encino on Tuesday afternoon before opening the back and pulling out what appears to be a large bag of trash.
Haskell, 35, can be seen struggling to lift the awkward bag over his shoulder before throwing it into the trash bin.
Two separate clips obtained by the outlet show the disturbing scene from up close and from further away.
The shocking images were recorded in the same place where a homeless person looking for recyclable materials stumbled upon the torso early Wednesday morning.
Investigators said there were no obvious identifying signs on the torso, such as tattoos, but they believe it likely belongs to Haskell’s missing wife, Mei.
Mei Haskell and her parents, mother Yanxiang Wang and father Gaoshen Li, had already been reported missing before the gruesome discovery.

Haskell was arrested after investigators discovered a significant amount of blood and other evidence inside his home that suggested a murder scene.
He allegedly gave workers $500 to remove three large bags of trash from inside the garage of his Tarzana home on Tuesday, just a day before the dismembered body was discovered.
Haskell, the son of a powerful Hollywood executive who previously represented megastars George Clooney, Dolly Parton and Whoopi Goldberg, allegedly told the workers that the bags were full of rocks, but the group quickly realized the contents were much more sinister.

They accepted the money and walked several blocks away to inspect the bags, which they described as soft and soggy, each weighing about 50 pounds, before returning and dropping off the bags.
Haskell allegedly attempted to pass off the body parts as Halloween props, but the men could not be persuaded to participate in his apparent dirty work.
They claim they immediately tried to report the gruesome discovery to two different police stations, but were rejected.

The three children shared by Haskell and his missing wife were found safe and sound at the school and turned over to the Department of Children and Family Services.
Haskell, who described himself as a director and posted several clips of low-budget videos online, has a history of violence.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon in December 2008, to which he pleaded no contest to the assault charge and was placed on three years’ probation in 2010.
