Customers in the United States can enter the contest by visiting SubwayNameChange.com between August 1 and midnight on August 3. The lucky winner will receive a lifetime supply of delicious subs and cash assistance from Subway to pay legal and procedural costs related to the name change, according to the firm.
“Subway superfans and sandwich lovers can visit SubwayNameChange.com between August 1 and August 4 and enter to win free Subway Deli Heroes for life if they commit to legally changing their name.” Subway will choose one lucky winner for free sandwiches and an iconic new identity. Subway would compensate the winner for legal and administrative costs associated with the name change, “making it easy and effortless to become Subway and enjoy a lifetime of delicious subs,” the US fast-food brand said in a statement.
According to Fox News, Subway has invested USD 80 million in deli meat slicers to improve its menu and revive its brand. Subway North America President Trevor Haynes stated that this shift will improve the dining experience for guests and renew interest in the brand.
Subway dominated the news in India earlier this month after some of its locations stopped providing tomatoes in its salads and sandwiches. This move comes as tomato prices in the country have risen roughly 400 per cent, reaching all-time highs.
