It is our job to maintain an ecological balance wherever we travel, be it within or outside of India. We should never leave the environment dirty and strewn with garbage and waste. Mountaineers have a tremendous impact on Mount Everest and are responsible for its preservation and protection.

Supriya Sahu, an IAS officer, posted a distressing video of rubbish and plastic debris dumped at a camp on Mount Everest. The video appears to have been taken by one of the mountaineers who described the location of the camp as “dirty”.

The internet was quite upset to see
The Internet was outraged and upset after seeing the video. Witnesses described it as a “horrific spectacle”.
