Career
Shaan Groverr’s leading role was in a drama directed by Lushin Dubey, in which he played Mowgli from the age of five. Throughout his school years, he has maintained appearances in dramas. He began his career in the Bollywood industry as an assistant filmmaker for the film Sanam Teri Kasam, produced by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao in 2015. He then studied acting under the direction of Shanoo Sharma at the YRF casting studio. Shaan starred in two short films, Llunga and Muqaddar (2016), which were screened at the Mumbai International Film Festival respectively.
In 2018, he appeared in PM Selfiewallie, a web series produced by Aashima Chhiber, on Ekta Kapoor’s video-on-demand platform ALT Balaji.
Groverr received his breakout role and played the lead negative role in Noblemen (2018), a Netflix international feature film, directed by Vandana Kataria and produced by Saregama & Seher Latif.
Shaan has acted in Action Aniket, a short film featured on Humaramovie, a YouTube channel known for showcasing short films produced by young filmmakers. He played in Class of 2020, a web-based series uploaded to Mirage Miracle, a YouTube channel. He played a role in the web series Decoded in its third season, which is available for streaming on Netflix and TLC.
