Biography
Shahnawaz Alam was born in Calcutta, West Bengal. He had dreamed of being a fashion icon and model since his teenage years. He worked hard on himself and modeled his fashion style inspired by various foreign fashion icons and models.
Even though he cherished his dream of joining a modeling company, Alam says, he never believed he would actually be a renowned professional model. He was able to see his dream take shape when he worked as a flight attendant at Jet Airways. His training as a flight attendant combined with his natural good looks paved her way into the modeling business. Alam began her modeling career by appearing in a print campaign alongside global star Priyanka Chopra for Nikon.
With very high morale, he risked venturing into fashion. Since then, she has worked with top Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Mallika Dua, Arjun Khanna, etc. Alam has worked with many other designers like Arjun Ahuja and Asif Merchant. He has been the face of countless prestigious and famous brands like Raymonds, Virasafe, etc. He secured his place as one of the most in-demand models in the industry. Alam appeared in Vogue India alongside Kangana Ranaut. She has given several interviews, including one on Filmfare.
