The model and content creator, Alessandra Mayr, expressed her desire to represent Honduras in the next Miss Universe 2024, which will take place in Mexico.
Just two days after the new Miss Universe 2023, Sheinnys Palacios, was crowned, the organizers of the pageant in Honduras launched the call for catrachas who wish to participate to register.
In that sense, the 24-year-old Honduran woman stated that she is ready to compete. She also highlighted as “destiny” that she just moved to live in Mexico, the country that will host the contest next year.
“It seems to me that it is destiny because I just moved to Mexico (…) so I want to take this opportunity to officially announce my participation or my desire to participate in Miss Honduras next year,” she said.

Mayr promised that if she wins Miss Honduras she will give her all to be able to place the country among the finalists.
“If I manage to represent our country, which would be a dream for me, I will raise our country high, I will raise our flag in front of all of Mexico and in front of the entire world on September 28, 2024,” he added.
Zuheilyn Clemente’s successor
Alessandra stands out as a model and travel content creator on her Instagram account, where she has more than 29,000 followers.
The Honduran’s face has already begun to appear on social networks and many highlight her as the “perfect” successor for the current Miss Honduras, Zuheilyn Clemente.
