Shruthy Menon was born on April 20, 1984 to Sreevalsan Unni Menon and Shashi Menon in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Menon began her career in the film industry by starring in the Malayalam film Sancharram in 2004, which followed the story of two lesbian lovers in Kerala. Later, she was seen in Kadha Thudarunnu, which was a super hit film.
Shruthy has also been part of the thriller Apoorvaragam directed by Sibi Malayil. She also appeared in the satirical comedy-drama Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty.
