Shruti started her career by modeling and hosting television shows on Channel V. She began her career professionally as a guest relations executive at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai. Shruti has hosted First Day First Show and Junglee Jukebox on Channel V.
Shruti started her career in Star Plus channel’s horror show Ssshhh…Koi Hai in the year 2001. She appeared in an episodic show “Khel Khel Mein”. She was later seen in the television show Maan (2001-02) as Khushi. Shruti gained immense popularity by playing the lead role in Jiya Malhotrain’s fantasy comedy Shararat which aired on Star Plus, she worked along with Farida Jalal, Poonam Narula and Eva Grover.
