Smruthi Venkat was born on January 9, 1994 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his studies from the local school in Chennai and then joined Anna University, Chennai. Smruthi was seen playing television reporter Priyam in Indru Netru Naalai in 2015.
Smruthi made her professional acting debut in the crime thriller film Thadam, where she played the role of Ananthi alongside Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope in 2019. Later, she gained immense popularity for acting in the fantasy film Mookuthi Amman as Deivamritham. . She starred in Nayanthara, RJ Balaji, Uravshi and many more in 2020.
Later, Smruthi worked in some films like Vanam (2021), Theerpugai Virkapadum (2021), Maaran (2022), Manmadha Leelai (2022), Kuttram Kuttrame (2022) and many more.
