Snigdhajit Bhowmik began his career as a contestant on the television singing reality show The Voice India, judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh in 2015. The following year, he participated in the Bengali music reality show Phire Ashar Gaan in 2016. Snigdhajit won the first runner-up trophy of Zee Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2018. He recorded the song Durga Puja Special on the Amara Muzik label.
