Rapper Snoop Dogg appears to be changing his tune about former President Donald Trump.
Weeks after shocking the world with his satirical joke that he would “quit smoke” last November, the 52-year-old rapper made waves in a recent interview when asked about the 45th president.
“Donald Trump? He hasn’t done anything wrong to me,” Snoop told the Sunday Times. “He’s just done great things for me. He forgave Michael Harris.”
“I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
During the final days of his administration, Trump granted clemency to Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry O” Harris, who had been convicted of attempted murder in a kidnapping.
Snoop previously had a much harsher stance toward Trump, urging his fans in 2019 to vote against him.
“I just want to say this real quick,” Snoop told his fans on social media At the time. “There’s no fucking way all of you can vote for Donald Trump when he comes back.”

In 2017, the rapper released a video for “Lavender” in which he mocked the filming of “Ronald Klump.”
“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failed career and all, had pointed and fired the gun at President Obama? “Prison time!” Trump responded at the time Twitter, now known as X.
The West Coast rapper also called Trump a “racist, clown president.”
Even before Trump first took office, Snoop headlined a Comedy Central roast of Trump in 2011.
“Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time you’d kick a black family out of their house,” the rapper joked during the roast over murmurs that Trump was running for president at the time.

One of the covers of his “Make America Crip Again” album featured an image of the iconic rapper enjoying a corpse apparently covered by an American flag with a label that read “Trump.”
Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., Snoop previously softened his stance on Trump after he granted clemency to Harris.
“It is a great job for the president and his team on his departure. They did a great job while they were there and they did a great job getting out. Let them know I love what they did,” he said in comments shared with The Post in 2021.
