Sonalika Joshi was born on June 5, 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He received his education at Miranda High School. After which she pursued her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the University of Mumbai. Sonalika liked acting since childhood, her hobby led her to the acting industry of Mumbai. She started her career in Marathi theatre. She appeared in a cameo in the 2006 Marathi film Waras Sarech Saras.
Sonalika gained recognition from the television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah. In this show she played the character of Madhvi Aatmaram Bhide. She has been associated with this television show continuously since 2008.
