Judge Sudhir Parmar arrested
A few months after Sudhir Parmar was suspended from his post, ED arrested him. Sudhir was arrested by ED on 10 August 2023. The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau filed the case against him after they found evidence of his involvement in the money laundering case.
The Enforcement Directorate stated that it had found reliable information on the judge’s abuse of office, cases of serious misdemeanors and the acceptance of bribes by the defendants. Together with the FIR, the Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau submitted several screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation involving Sudhir Parmar. According to the sources, Sudhir was demanding Rs 5-7 crores to help real estate owners with their erectile dysfunction cases.
