“Dear @Swiggy @SwiggyCares, I have ordered something from Swiggy. I have not received the order. Their delivery boy refused to deliver the order and said ‘mera pas time nahi hai jo karna hai kar lo nahi le kar aunga order’ Where to go now “?” wrote a woman in X, who had ordered a vada pav and a bun.

After Neha’s tweet went viral, the company granted an immediate refund. Swiggy responded to the popular tweet and clarified that the issue was resolved over the phone.

How did the company react?

Swiggy clarified, “The company wrote: “@Neha_ns9999 I hope the team can resolve this via call. We are here if you need us for anything :)”

Responding to the post, some netizens pointed out that the delivery agent shared the name with Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma, while others claimed that the user bought vada pav for ₹100, which is widely accessible on the street for ₹15.

“Buying Vada Pav at $100 is a crime and a sin and you pay for it,” commented one user on X. Another person said: “On a lighter note, Rohit Sharma has already given India a win today ( February 5th)”.

“This kind of thing is common on Swiggy and has been happening for years, the delivery boys mark the order delivered/canceled and then run away with the food, while Swiggy tells you that you canceled the order and makes you pay for it,” another the user pointed out.
