Tejaswini Pandit was born on May 23, 1986 to Ranjit Pandit and Jyoti Chandekar in Pune, Maharashtra. Her mother is also an actress and she has played a lead role in the television show Tu Saubhagyavati Ho. Pandit currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Career
Pandit began her modeling career in 2003 and appeared in several television advertisements. In 2004, she got her first film Aga Bai Arrecha. She later did several films like Natha Pure Aaata, Pakda Pakdi, Ye Re Ye Re Paisa, Bluffmaster, Mukti, Deva and Tu Hi Re. Pandit gained immense popularity and recognition by playing the role of Sindhutai Sapkal in the Marathi film Mee Sindhutai Sapkal, directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. The film received four National Film Awards in the category of Special Jury Award, Best Male Playback Singer, Best Screenplay (Best Dialogues and Best Adapted Screenplay).
In 2010, Pandit also made her television debut through the series Tuza Ni Maza Ghar Shrimantacha as Kaveri. He later appeared in television shows like Ekach Hya Janmi Janu, Kalay Tasmai Namah, Lajja and 100 Days.
