Belgium’s largest prison is reeling from a wild sex scandal that accused guards and staff of hosting jacuzzi orgies and exchanging colorful bracelets to determine sexual partners, a local report detailed.
Ten guards and employees at the Lantin prison, located near the city of Liège, have been criticized for allegedly hosting sex parties after work and even having sex with each other during their shifts at the prison, a news outlet reported. Belgian Sudinfo.
One of the employees was even described as a “nymphomaniac” who allegedly demanded sex from her co-workers.

During parties, employees allegedly determined which employee they would sleep with by randomly pulling out a colored bracelet, according to the report.
The employee described as a “nymphomaniac” was only identified as “S” and allegedly demanded sex from her colleagues in order to do her job, according to an anonymous source who spoke to the outlet.
“Starting at 6am, she made it known that if she didn’t have sex, she wouldn’t be able to work,” the source said, the Daily Star reported.
The source added that a senior prison official allegedly allowed “S” to use his office to have sex with co-workers during his shift, the Daily Star reported.

Lantin Prison is described as a minimum security prison that houses both men and women and serves as “the largest facility in the country,” according to its website. The prison was designed according to “American and German models.”
The anonymous source added that it is unclear how “S” was hired at the prison, citing that his brother was allegedly an inmate at the facility.

The brother was reportedly convicted and sentenced to prison for murdering a gay man, the source said.
“She used to come see him every day as a visitor, being very friendly with the detainees’ families in the waiting room,” the source told the outlet. “She was very arrogant and haughty with the agents who were guarding the visiting room. Her admission to Lantin, at that time, was a [shock]especially since, as a visitor for a year, it happened overnight to the prison officer.”
The brother has since reportedly been transferred to Huy prison, which is about a 30-minute drive from Lantin prison.
The jacuzzi owner was reportedly banned from entering the women’s wing of the prison after allegedly having sex with female inmates, the Daily Mail reported.
It is unclear whether other staff members also allegedly had sexual relations with the inmates.
The employee identified as “S” has since been moved to work in the women’s wing only in an attempt to “calm her sexual urges,” the Daily Mail reported.
The 10 employees face an official investigation into the allegations, and prison officials said they are investigating the allegations.
“On Monday morning the media informed us that there was a problem in the prison. We asked the governor of the local prison to do an internal investigation. “This is happening right now and there is a possibility that disciplinary action will be taken,” the Justice Department of the Belgian Federal Public Service told the Daily Star last week.
“We cannot say anything more because the investigation is ongoing.”
