A man drives a ‘shopping cart’ the size of a truck
The video went viral on Instagram with almost 270,000 views on the platform. The vehicle whizzed past what appeared to be the field, while the people in the cars looked at the gentleman driving the jumbo.
The men behind the camera were stunned and practically howled at the cyclist who was sitting meters off the ground in his giant vehicle. In the clip, they exclaimed when they noticed the king-size car driving down the highway. A man behind the camera gave ideas about the hijacking of the cart: “We are hijacking this.” While another hailed his love for the country that he never stops giving, “I love America.”
As the guys joked about the go-cart in the clip, one went ahead and shocked people with his evil plan to hijack the custom ride and laughed, “He hits his tires, there’s no way he’s surviving.” We’re sure this was all just part of a prank and not an actual evil plot to take over the iconic ride.

The wagon ride started as a Christmas project
The larger than life basket on wheels began as a project to build a Christmas toy drive. The car’s owner, J Rueles, told KENS 5: “I wanted to do something, I had just finished a fire truck with a radio for the Shriners. And I didn’t have anything else for this holiday season last year, so I said I had to do something different and that’s when we started looking around and we saw a shopping cart and we said how about that and why not.
It took Rueles two months to build the monster wagon ride, but he wasn’t alone. Several companies entered the scene because many people wanted to be a part of something extraordinary. Rueles also shared how people on the road often stop him and want to take photos of his journey, even asking him why he built such a thing and he always responds with a simple “Why not?”
People on the internet were certainly curious and stunned after seeing the car on the road. One user wondered: “Is this legal? Not judging just genuinely curious.” While one estimated: “Dude, if one of those highway bridges is a little lower than normal…”
