Arshia Goswami shared the video on her Instagram account with the caption, “Still the youngest and strongest girl 👧.” Well, that’s true; she is the youngest girl to lift 60kg in india, and certainly she is the strongest who can do it at 8 years old when usually kids are busy playing, reading and doing other things.
At six years old, the Olympic medalist set the record for the youngest deadlift in 2021, lifting 45kg. The Indian Book of Records recognized her achievement, and pictures of her weightlifting thrilled netizens.
In the viral clip, this little girl can be seen wearing a blue T-shirt and colored shorts and in the gym with 60 kg of weights. In one fell swoop, she lifted and yanked down. She then moved towards the camera with a direct gaze, which showed too much passion. In the background, you can listen to Piyush Mishra’s song Aarambh. Her Instagram account is run by her father, Goswami.
Goswami also enjoys taekwondo and weight lifting. It all started when he joined his father, a certified fitness trainer, during one of his regular workouts. He started deadlifting after six months and began lifting weights at the age of six. He also placed third in a state level powerlifting tournament. “At 8 years old, I am living proof that age is just a number,” the text embedded in the Humans of Bombay video read.
