Some users may face the need to purchase a new device to access the next app update due to the age of their current mobile.
According to what was reported by WabetaInfo, the reason is none other than security and the ability to offer updated functions.
Features that can no longer guarantee terminals with several years of service, which could restrict WhatsApp’s capabilities to implement the latest tools it has developed.
Something unacceptable for Meta, the company that owns the platform, which in recent months has redoubled its bet and invested many resources in new and advanced features.
