Despite his early interest in music, Tom decided to put his musical aspirations aside to join the military after finishing high school. He served as a member of the Army in Germany and was deployed to Afghanistan, where he suffered wounds and was honored with the Purple Heart for his service.
After his military service, Tom decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in law enforcement. He became a New York State Police Trooper and served in this capacity for eight years. Currently, he plays a crucial role in training new officers at the New York State Police Academy.
