Trump complains about his ‘wonderful, beautiful’ daughter Ivanka having to testify against him when he arrives in court

Former President Donald Trump complained Wednesday that his “wonderful, beautiful daughter” Ivanka had to testify in the $250 million fraud case against him after her failed attempt to avoid the witness stand.

The former first daughter’s testimony will complete the questioning of Trump family members, which began with Don Jr. and Eric last week and with the former president on Monday.

Ivanka’s questioning by the New York Attorney General’s Office, which is prosecuting the case, is expected to last from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cross-examination by Trump’s team could last until Thursday morning.

Ivanka, 41, tried to avoid appearing for trial in Manhattan Supreme Court, but Judge Arthur Engoron, and later an appeals court, rejected the request.

In a Truth Social post shortly after midnight, the former president said his “wonderful, beautiful daughter” was being summoned by “Letitia Peekaboo James, the corrupt and racist attorney general of the state of New York, who has allowed murders and violent crimes in New York. to flourish.”

He also once again went after Ergoron, calling him an “out-of-control Clubhouse-appointed judge, Arthur Engoron,” who “brutally ruled against me before the trial even began.”

“Now they are trying to include Ivanka in the case, even though the Court of Appeal ruled that she cannot be charged. Sad!”

Ivanka, a businesswoman and mother of three, was previously charged along with her family, but was dismissed from the case in June by an appeals court that found the allegations against her were not time-barred.

Ivanka’s lawyer, Bennet Moskowitz, argued last month that she has not lived in New York or worked there since 2017.

Trump’s attorney, Christopher Kise, noted that his presence in court would create another “circus day” in the trial allegedly orchestrated by the attorney general’s office to attract more media to the courtroom.

But AG attorney Kevin Wallace argued that Ivanka was “still very involved” in Trump Org even though she has not been an executive at the company since 2017.

“EM. Trump has clearly taken advantage of the privilege of doing business in New York,” the judge stated.

“I want to see it in person. That’s how we prefer testimony,” Engoron said.

Ivanka will be the last witness summoned by the Prosecutor’s Office.

Once she concludes her testimony, Trump’s side will begin its case.

Trump’s roughly four hours on the stand Monday were marked by multiple confrontations between him, his lawyers and Engoron.

The real estate mogul gave lengthy answers to yes-or-no questions, according to the judge who asked more than once that Trump stop making “speeches” from the bench.

During one of those rambling responses from Trump, he yelled and pointed at the judge who claimed Engoron had committed fraud against him and called the attorney general a “political pirate.”

Trump’s lawyers said Monday that they planned to call Don Jr. and Eric as part of their case, since they did not question Trump’s two oldest sons when they were called by the attorney general’s office.

It was not immediately clear whether his lawyers would remove Trump or his daughter.

Lawyers said they will likely finish their case by Dec. 15.
