Trump threatens to ‘permanently’ ban Nikki Haley’s financial backers ‘from the MAGA camp’

Former President Donald Trump demanded Wednesday night that donors stop opening their wallets to Nikki Haley or they would be locked out of him and his supporters “permanently.”

“Anyone who makes a ‘contribution’ to Birdbrain will, from this point forward, be permanently banned from the MAGA field,” the 77-year-old said on Truth Social, using his preferred derogatory nickname for his former ambassador to the United Nations. .

“We don’t want them and we won’t accept them, because we put America first, and we ALWAYS will!”

Trump has escalated his attacks on Haley, 52, in recent days, apparently aggravated by her refusing to drop out after her double-digit victory in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary.

Haley has vowed to take the fight to her home state of South Carolina, where she is down more than 30 percentage points in the most recent RealClearPolitics aggregate.

In an attempt to press its advantage, the Trump campaign has touted endorsements from more than 150 current and former South Carolina officials, including the state’s governor and both Republican senators.

“I knew Nikki well, she was average at best, not the one to take on world leaders, and never did. “That was up to me,” Trump also wrote. “When I ran for office and won, I noticed that the losing candidate’s ‘donors’ immediately came to me and wanted to ‘help’ me… not with me anymore.”

Haley quickly encouraged donors to ignore Trump and support his campaign.

I just donated to Nikki Haley.

You should too, and so should your family. Proud to be “permanently excluded” from Trumpism. It feels good. Try it! https://t.co/K5AAw4kc1l
