London-based plumber claims he earns more than Rs 2 crore a year
Fry’s adventure began when he took the advice of his neighborhood job center and signed up for a plumbing apprenticeship. He started his own company when he was 20, joined Pimlico Plumbers ten years later and is now among the highest paid employees there.
Fry maintains a strict pattern and is accessible for emergencies on weekday nights, resulting in an astonishing total of 58 hours of work per week, maintaining a regular 8 am to 6 pm workday.
Just a dozen plumbers, on average, are believed to earn more than £200,000 each year. Shockingly, it has been claimed that half the workers at Pimlico Plumbers earn over £100,000 a year.
He is one of the highest paid plumbers in Pimlico.
Although Stephen Fry is one of the highest paid plumbers in Pimlico, he admitted in an interview with the Mail on Sunday that his rigorous workload leaves him quite exhausted.
He spoke about his job with delight, saying that he enjoys every day. She recalled times when she had responded to calls from women who had water leaks and saw her relief when the problem was fixed.
He admitted that he wasn’t sure if he would ever stop, saying, “Honestly, I can’t imagine myself stopping. My work gives me satisfaction. I’m committed to trying very hard and I think I’ll keep working until I can’t.”
Adzuna, a job search engine, revealed earlier this year a list of 20 jobs that do not require a university degree but pay more than the UK median income of £33,000 (around Rs 33 lakh). As of March 2023, one of the positions advertised on the website offered a competitive salary of £90,000.
According to Adzuna’s analysis, there are lucrative IT jobs available that don’t necessarily require a computer science degree. Scrum master, ethical hacker, and software developer are examples of high-paying positions in this sector.
Ethical hackers have the ability to break into computer systems to find weaknesses, which they then notify system owners. The average annual salary for ethical hackers was £61,497 (around Rs 63 lakh) as of March 2023.
Last month, the average announced earnings for jobs like air traffic controllers, train conductors and commercial pilots topped £50,000 (around Rs 51 lakh).
