Newcastle and Cardiff emerged as clear victors in a recent Brits study designed to capture the essence of several towns across the United Kingdom, sporting the strongest overall ‘vibes.’ Because of their unique blend of positive energy, inviting ambiance, and different cultural scenes, these two thriving urban centers have managed to grab the hearts of inhabitants and visitors alike.
Newcastle and Cardiff have proven to be the inspiration and cultural richness hotspots, with bustling streets covered with bright street art and a flourishing music and arts scene that keeps innovation flowing.

Newcastle And Cardiff Make The List Of UK’s Most Liveliest Cities

The Geordie city received an 8.09 out of 10 rating, indicating that it has the greatest food and the best sense of flair. It topped the ranking in seven of the nine categories, including being the friendliest and having the best pub scene.
Other top cities with a positive “vibe” include Cardiff and Liverpool, with the latter taking the top spot for the finest music scene, scoring 7.53 out of 10 compared to Newcastle’s 7.42.
However, cities that could have fair better included Stoke on Trent, which ranked worst in six of the nine categories, including having the poorest food, music, and nightlife.

Leeds was also ranked fairly low, finishing last for the finest sense of style and eighth out of ten for the best music scene. However, according to a survey of 2,000 British citizens, 84% enjoy living in or near a city, and two-thirds (67%) would recommend their city to anyone seeking a new area.
The top three benefits of living in or near a city are good restaurants (36%), decent shops (38%), and constantly having something to do (33%).
The study was commissioned by global tech company HONOR to coincide with the introduction of its new HONOR 90 smartphone series, which is all about encouraging consumers to Share Their vibes with the world.
