It was in 2016 that the Honduran Argelio Paz met the Japanese Shiho Takahashi, who arrived as a missionary to teach in Danlí, El Paraíso, in the east of the country.
It was enough to see her and have a conversation for the love between them to flow, since the Honduran assured that she was “humble, very calm and affectionate.”
After two years, the young woman had to return to her country, leaving the catracho heartbroken, who had no choice but to follow her to Japan.
This is how on May 31, 2018, the couple married in a traditional ceremony in the Asian country and formed their new home in Iwate Prefecture, Morioka, Japan.

The catracho followed his Japanese woman
“Even though we never imagined that we were going to end up together, we did it,” the catracho, who continues to adapt to his wife’s culture, told El Heraldo.
Argelio and Shiho have a little girl whom they named Karina, this because it is a name that can be mentioned in both Spanish and Japanese.
And two months ago they shared through their YouTube account that they are waiting for their second daughter, who could be born this November.
His followers have taken the news with great happiness, leaving comments such as: “Congratulations on the new member of your family”; “I love that they share their cultures with their little ones” and “God take care of the four of them and soon bring them to Honduras.”
So far they have not revealed what the name of the little girl who is expected to enter the world on November 27 will be.
