Career
Vijay moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra after completing his postgraduate course in search of work as an actor. He got his first acting job in the short film Shor by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, which was a huge success and won Best Short Film at the MIAAC Festival in New York. He has worked in many movies like Gully Boy (2019), Super 30 (2019), Rangrezz (2013), Monsoon Shootout (2017), etc.
He has also appeared in web series like A Suitable Boy, Ella, Mirzapur 2, etc. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 65th Filmfare Awards for his performance as Moeen in Gully Boy.
