Biography/Wiki
Vikas gupta was born on 7 May 1988 in Baraily, Uttrapradesh but was brought up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He belongs to a middle class Hindu family. His father owns a transportation company. His mother Sharda Gupta is a yoga teacher and lived in Mumbai. Vikas gupta is separated from him in childhood. He has three brothers, Siddarth, Varun and Komal Gupta, in the family. His brother, Siddharth Gupta, is also an actor.
Vikas Gupta completed his school studies from Dun International School. After 12th, he moved to Delhi for higher studies, but unfortunately he did not continue his studies due to family financial problems.

Career
After leaving education in meddling, Vikas Gupta starts working as a visual artist in 2010. He later got a job as a trainee in Balaji television films. He worked as creative director for Balaji TV shows like Mahabharat, Kyuki Sans Bhi kabhi bahu thi and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. During this he becomes close friends with Ekta Kapoor.
Later, he also founded his own production company called “Lost Boy Productions”, which has created the popular television series Gumrah: End of Innocence, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, V The Serial, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and MTV Webbed. He also acted in the TV shows “Kitni Mohabbat Hai” in the role of Irfan Razaa Khan and “Kis desh mein hai meraa dil”.
Vikas gained huge fame from Colors TV’s reality show Bigg Boss Season 11 in 2017. He was the second runner-up of this show and also won the title of Mastermind. He also won the Lions Gold TV Personality of the Year award for this show. Vikas is currently participating in Colors TV’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in 2019.

Vikas Gupta is a very controversial personality of telecity. He was always surrounded by controversies. Some important controversies that he faced in his life are.
- Vikas Gupta confirmed that he is bisexual. In 2016, Kaisi Hai Yaariyan actor Parth Samthaan accused him of sexual abuse, but his common friend Ekta Kapoor says the two were in a relationship. Later, both of them lodged FIRs against each other at the Veršova police station.
