Vinny Arora was born on June 28, 1991 in Delhi, India, into a Sikh family. Her real name is Harmeet Kaur. Her father’s name is Gajinder Singh Arora and her mother’s name is Parminder Arora. Her father is a real estate consultant. She has two brothers, Ikmeet Arora and Vicky Arora, in the family. Vicky is also an actress and has worked in the Amazon Prime original web series, Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar.
Vinny studied at Gyan Kendra in Kamal Vihar, Delhi. After which she completed her graduation from Mithibai College. Since childhood she dreamed of working in the glamor industry and she came to Mumbai to pursue a career at a very young age.

At the age of 16, Arora began working in the television industry. She made her television debut in the year 2007 with the series Kasturi. After which she played an important role in many serials like Kuchh Is Tara, Aathvaan Vachan, Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg and Saraswatichandra. Apart from serials, she has also worked in films. Her first Bollywood film was Dhanak, which released in 2016.
