In the viral images you can see the monkey sitting on a man’s head, while other passengers run out of the bus to avoid touching it. The guy recording the video was talking to a man, probably the bus driver, to learn more about it. The bus driver claimed that the monkey had boarded the transport and did not want to get out.

Despite his assurances that the primate had not harmed anyone, travelers on the road were terrified. Even the bus driver advised everyone to get out so the monkey could leave.
The animal, however, clung to a man’s shoulder, causing a delay while the passenger next to him watched anxiously, unable to even blink due to the monkey’s closeness.
How has Lucknow fought with monkeys?
In particular, Lucknow has long struggled with monkey-related concerns. According to a TOI report in October, an animal bite occurs in the city every eight minutes. While stray dogs remain the main perpetrators, monkeys and cats are close behind, contributing to one attack every hour.
Residents expressed concern about increasing monkey violence, especially towards children and women. “Monkeys are becoming more aggressive every day, and children and women are their easy targets,” said a resident of Vineet Khand in Lucknow.
