One moment that went viral online was the crowd’s reaction to Virat Kohli’s century during the match. Although RCB ended up losing to GT, it was a magnificent match with Virat Kohli being the king of all hearts in the stadium.
One clip taking the internet by storm is the exact moment after Kohli’s century when the crowd erupts in celebration, unaware of the final outcome of the match. Though Kohli balked at his usual century celebration that sends electricity through the watching fans, the crowd made up for his lack of joy.
The people in the stadium cheer his name and that of the team. The stadium was filled with applause as the collective cheers of the fans filled the air with Kohli’s name. Twitter user Gurkirat Singh Gill posted a video of the moment and wrote: “Just listen to the applause! A good ton of King Kohli.
