He won the Zee Gold Award for Best Male Actor in a Comic Role for his portrayal of Baldev Balwant Singh in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas… Veera.

Career
Vishal started his career through a youth drama show Crazy Stupid Ishq, aired on Channel V in 2013, where he appeared alongside actors like Hiba Nawab, Aneri Vajani, Harsh Rajput in the character of Ayaan Dixit. He later starred in an episode of MTV Webbed as Daksh.
In 2013, Vishal gained immense popularity for the Star Plus television series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera as Baldev Balwant Singh. The show also earned him the Best Actor in a Comic Role award at the Zee Gold Award 2014. He was later seen in Gangaa as Sagar Niranjan Chaturvedi, Jaat Ki Jugni as Bittu Daljeet Singh Dahiya and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki as Kanhaiya.
In 2020-21, Vishal played Kabir Sharma in Colors TV’s popular series Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 as well as its digital platform series Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar.
