A Walmart employee in Mississippi says she was fired after posting a video of a shopper carrying a baby dressed only in diapers during last week’s cold snap.
Facebook user Fee Nicole took to the platform on Sunday to post a photo of the toddler sitting in the stroller in the middle of a chain location in Jackson, wearing only his diaper while his caregiver was dressed in boots, pants and a sweater. .
It was unclear what day the images were taken, but temperatures reached as low as 19 degrees in Jackson on Sunday while the Deep South was in a brutal freeze, according to Wunder Ground.
In the clip, a Walmart employee is seen putting a sweatshirt on the boy before a confrontation broke out.
“He can’t be here without that jacket,” a woman was heard saying off-camera.
“That baby just got a Pamper,” another woman chimed in.
“Now he’s sitting there shaking,” one man was heard saying.

As onlookers expressed concern, the baby’s apparent mother was filmed throwing a bag of frozen vegetables into the cart, bouncing the package against the toddler.
“He is throwing cold food at this child. What’s wrong with you?” the man asked, according to the images.
“Keep your voice down, who are you?” the caretaker snapped at the worried shopper.
“Take out that manly face please,” a woman was heard saying.
“You’re crazy,” the man told the woman with the baby, before she turned into the hallway and went on a vulgar tirade, pausing only to twerk briefly for the camera.
“Someone call the police,” a woman was heard saying.
“Go ahead, they’ve already called twice… as long as you have hot water, a fire extinguisher…”, the caregiver replied.
“But when you walk into the store fully dressed and your baby isn’t…” the woman responded.
“I’m calling the police right now,” the man said.
Nicole, who was identified as Felicia Nicole by other media, took to Facebook to say she had been fired after the incident.
“Yes, I got fired for this video…” Nicole wrote.

“No, I wasn’t thinking about the consequences when I posted the video. “I was worried about the baby that’s all and I pray the child is safe now!!!”
Neither Nicole nor Jackson police immediately responded to a request for comment.
In a statement to The Post, Walmart said it shares “the concern others have for the child in the video.”
“We do not discuss personnel matters involving current or former associates,” the statement continued.
“All associates are encouraged and empowered to use their judgment when contacting authorities when they see something that may be wrong; however, all associates are also expected to follow the Walmart Code of Conduct.”
