Recently, an orangutan at the Louisville Zoo went viral after sharing a special moment with a newborn baby. Social media users later identified the orangutan, Amber, 35, who was recorded gesturing to a three-month-old baby through the glass of her zoo exhibit. Someone on the video was heard saying “There’s the baby” as the boy’s mother brings the baby closer to the glass partition between the primate and zoo visitors.

In the video clip, Amber walks up to the glass to look at the baby, who is wearing a gray onesie, and gives the boy a sweet smile as she looks at them. The moment won the hearts of many who were there. They were seen muttering their Awwss! The baby’s mother reportedly told PKB News that the orangutan shared another beautiful moment with the child when she kissed the glass twice as they brought the child closer. This isn’t the first time Amber has asked to take a closer look at a little visitor at the zoo. In a different video, posted by Shalena Hittle earlier this month, the curious orangutan points to Hittle’s newborn baby swaddled in a blue blanket.
