Philip Basoah was born on November 18, 1969. He became a member of parliament when he won the 2016 general election in the Kumawu constituency. In 2017 he entered Parliament for the first time. Talking about Philip Basoah’s victory in the 2016 general election, he won 78.2 percent of the total votes cast in the election and won Kumawu constituency with 21,794 votes.
