What is dating fatigue? 5 easy and effective ways to deal with it

If YOU have felt drained and exhausted looking for the only, you may be experiencing dating fatigue. To give young daters a little more insight into the problem at hand and how to tackle it, India’s most downloaded dating app QuackQuack conducted a survey, asking participants to share some tips on how to deal and overcome dating fatigue. 11,000 daters between the ages of 18 and 35, from Tier 1 and 2 cities, participated in this survey and the results are fascinating. 47% of QuackQuack users say that dating burnout can happen to anyone at any time, and the app can do little or nothing to help you apart from raising awareness; 6 in 10 users say daters will need to take proactive steps to keep it under control.

QuackQuack Founder and CEO Ravi Mittal said, “Currently, we have over 23 million users, and we see some of them encounter dating fatigue from time to time. We for our part recommend our users learning from negative dating experiences rather than allowing them to define the entire dating process Our surveys show that younger daters measure themselves by what they have accomplished romantically, which leads to burnout when things don’t work out ideally. Users young and old need to understand that it’s okay to take breaks.”

1. Limited screen time

3 in 10 young daters revealed that limiting screen time helps with dating fatigue. You sail with a goal in mind; find a match. If that doesn’t happen within the allotted time, check out and come back the next day. Mindlessly scrolling for hours, liking and streaming to people, with no end goal in sight, will only add to burnout, say these daters in metropolitan areas and smaller cities.

2. Take a break

A series of bad dates can frustrate anyone. The best course of action, according to 27% of women ages 25-30, is to take a break from dating; Whether you’re looking for dating on apps or in real life, take a break. 26% of the men over 30 who cited voted “identify the reason behind the fatigue” as the best way to treat it. They said that whether it’s rejections, aimless conversations with multiple people, casual dates that don’t materialize into something more solid, or pulling the plug on a budding relationship because you can’t see a future with the person, it’s critical to find out why you feel exhausted to decide how to handle the situation.
