“We’ve written multiple scripts and we’ve gotten to the point where we’re spinning a needle that honors Five Nights at Freddy’s and pleases Scott Cawthon. I have no right to do something Scott doesn’t like. Basically, Scott has a similar right. to the ‘final cut,’ and it’s taken me longer than I expected to get the story right,” Blum explained.
