After downloading the app, users need to scan the provided QR code to link the account on their Android or iOS device to their WhatsApp for macOS account.

Due to the changes that have been made to the app, it now takes full advantage of the Mac hardware, resulting in a faster and more effective user experience.

In addition to being designed to look and feel more like a regular Mac app, the app has a feature called the app sidebar, as well as the ability to drag and drop files.

Although the software can be downloaded from the official WhatsApp website, it is not yet available for public use because it is currently under development. As a direct consequence of this, the functionality of some features may be compromised and it is anticipated that more features will be available in the near future.
