How would you feel if you were kept away from your loved ones and locked in a room where there was no food or water to drink? It sounds scary, as no one wants to live such a life, but sometimes some situations lead us to that position where we never want to go. The things we mentioned above are not an episode of a show or movie, nor are we sharing the part of any book because this actually happened with a woman who was away from her loved ones and lived in a cave for almost 2 years. Now, she is becoming a topic of interest, people want to know who she is, where she was trapped and how she was rescued.
Who is Beatriz Flamini?
The woman is identified as Beatriz Flamini who is a citizen of Madriz. She recently made the news after coming out of an underground cave after living in the same place for about 500 days. This cave is located in the south of Spain and lies about 70 meters underground. The woman entered the cave on November 20, 2021. She left this cave after 500 days on Friday, April 14, 2023, she visited a psychologist and visited for a health check.
Now she is all over the news and many news agencies have interviewed her. She talked about the whole experience of hers in a press conversation. Now, those who are thinking that she got stuck in the cave by chance or something miserable happened to her that led her to the cave are wrong. She entered the cave of her own free will. Her activity was part of the “Timecave Project” that focused on testing the capabilities of the human being if she has to live underground for a long time. While her team is confident that she has broken the record for surviving the longest time underground, the Guinness Book of Records has yet to comment on that.
While speaking to the press outside, Flamini revealed that he got used to doing normal activities like painting, reading books and others and that he lost count in 65 days. He further added that she even faced an invasion of flies where the insects were completely on top of her. However, he states that his experience was interesting and exciting and that anyone living in such a condition must remain aware and that one needs to relax and calm down despite being afraid. Beatriz Flamini is a climber, athlete and mountaineer. She herself participated in this scientific experiment where she resided in a cave with 1,000 liters of water and many books.
