The Man United supporter is believed to have been allegedly mocking the 97 Liverpool fans who lost their lives after the Hillsborough disaster. News of the arrest of a Man United fan on suspicion of a public order offense at Wembley during the FA Cup final match was revealed by Metropolitan Police Events, via a post on Twitter. The post appeared on Sunday when the FA stated: “The FA strongly condemns the actions of the individual wearing a shirt referencing the Hillsborough disaster ahead of the Emirates FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium. We saw a photograph of the offending jersey on social media and immediately began working to identify the perpetrator.
