Ophrah Kablan is a singer and songwriter from Clio, South Carolina. She participated in the 21st season of the singing reality show American Idol, judged by Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Furthermore, she has also won the Laurens Idol.

Ophrah was born on June 22, 2003 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She resides in Laurens, South Carolina. At only 17 years old, she has achieved a lot and is a source of inspiration to many. Ophrah has been captivated by music from a young age and she has won multiple awards throughout the United States and beyond. In 2013, she was honored with the Gospel Best award from the Upstate Black Expo at just 10 years old.

Ofrah was born as a miracle to her mother, who thought she would not be able to have children. Her grandmother prayed that Ophrah would have a “gift that she could share with the world” that she found through her singing.
