The accident occurred in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 31, however, it was not until a few days ago that the actor’s mother posted on her Instagram account about the loss of her son and three of her grandchildren.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the accident occurred when the vehicle in which Ramsess and her children were traveling collided with a disabled trailer truck on an exit ramp around midnight.
Ramses was 41 years old. His daughter Sundari was 13 years old, his son Kisasi was 10 years old and his daughter Fujibo was only eight weeks old. Two more children survived the accident, including a three-year-old daughter named Shazia, who is currently recovering in hospital.
Ramsess’ mother, Akili Ramsess, posted on her Instagram account on Thursday and then Saturday to announce the deaths, as Kisasi had been on life support after the accident and passed away at the hospital.

Akili shared family photos of all the deceased in his posts, highlighting happy moments, and including an image from Black Panther, in which Ramsess is seen in the background playing a Wakandan warrior.
“Everyone who knew him knows how special Taraja was,” Akili Ramsess wrote in his first post. “He had a deep capacity for love and he loved his children above all else. He loved martial arts, motorcycles and everything related to movies. He had a very peculiar sense of humor and at the same time he could be so witty. as fun.”
