A shooting incident became fatal when two victims succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds after getting shot on Wednesday, 9 Aug 2023 in San Marcos. Since people heard about the shooting in San Marcos, they have been keen to learn the identity of the two victims who died. However, one of the two victims has been identified as Paige Pringle. She was a bartender while the second victim was 53 years old Tara Baker. Paige Pringle was 28 years old and she was working as a bartender. Shockingly they were stopped by an individual before he fired gunshots at them.
Who killed Paige Pringle?
One of the two victims, Paige Pringle was a bartender at Dos Gatos where a memorial of flowers and other mementos were left outside the doors as news of her death spread. The memorial has since been brought indoors, according to a Dos Gatos Facebook post. Another vigil was done at The Parlour, behind Grape and Grain Exchange: A photo shared with The Resident News shows a chair leaning against the bar before a filled shot glass and a beer framing a gold “Reserved” sign along with a pair of lit candles. Tara Baker who was identified as the second victim of the fatal shooting, was reportedly just a bystander and she did not know Paige Pringle. The respective authorities responded to 1403 Hendricks Avenue at around 1:30 am on Wednesday, Aug 9, 2023, to an accident complaint but they found Paige Pringle with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said they were called about a crash that happened between a train and a car. Police also found the dead body of Tara Baker near Paige’s.
Bartender Pringle was found dead inside the SUV, while the other victim was outside the car. Fifi’s Fine Resale Apparel’s CCTV cameras captured the events that took place a few minutes before Pringle and the other woman got fatally shot. The video shows a man walking around the store and two vehicles passing by. One of the cars possibly belonged to the victim. Sgt. Rudlaff of Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Paige Pringle who was driving an SUV was shot which made her lose control of the vehicle. Her car then ended up crashing into a train. Pringle had possibly stopped at the rail gate when she was shot dead. Stay tuned.
