Why was Gervonta Davis arrested?
Recently, many people speculated that Gervonta Davis is still in jail. Here’s the latest update on his prison sentence. It was known that after serving a sentence related to a 2020 hit-and-run crash, a well-known boxing champion, Gervonta Davis has been released from jail after the crash that injured four people as per Dylan Segelbaum of the Baltimore Banner. At the moment, Gervonta Davis is a freedman after finishing his prison sentence. Nonetheless, Gervonta Davis’s plea deal was supposed to see him have a 90-day home sentence as well as three years on probation. However, at the moment the Baltimore native is out of jail. The 29-year-old finished up his bid over the weekend and later released a tweet which confirmed as such. Currently, with his brief jail stint behind him, he can now look to a return to the ring. Significantly, Gervontaa Davis released his first photo since the jail release. Initially, Davis avoided jail time with his plea deal, he sadly violated the terms of his house arrest. Later, in an Instagram live stream, he slammed the judge in his case for being biased. However, the champion has not discussed any sort of return plans since the end of his legal situation.
