A Honduran named Cristy Masiel shared on her TikTok account how she managed to buy her house on her own, however, she received various attacks.
The young woman explained that, with a lot of effort and sacrifice, she fulfilled her dream of buying her own house, since she rented for many years in Tegucigalpa, capital of Honduras, being originally from a town in the south of the country, without indicating which one.
His story of improvement went viral on TikTok, which aimed to explain how to manage his finances to buy his house in the Honduran capital.
However, Masiel received various comments in which they attacked her, saying that she had a ‘sponsor’ who cost her all her expenses.
Annoyed, the Honduran woman responded in a video, showing the striking interior design of her house, indicating that she paid for her house alone, even though many believe she did not.
“I received negative comments from men who said that it was easier for women (to buy a house) because of what we have in the middle of our legs, that a ‘suggar’ gave me my house,” she began.

“I’m sorry to tell you that I built my house without the help of any man or anyone, only from God, I have a decent job, my mother worked to give me a degree, I come from the bottom, working hard to make a career,” he added.
The young woman pointed out that her message was to motivate other Hondurans, but she believes that her video reached some ‘not correct’ people.
“My message was to motivate other types of people, not for those men who criticize me,” he said.
