A young woman and her dog were shot to death in Texas over the weekend while trying to help a friend leave an alleged abusive relationship, authorities said.
Police were called to an apartment in the Houston suburb of Spring around 5:30 a.m. Saturday and discovered a woman, later identified as Shantavia Reddick, 28, with multiple gunshot wounds in the elevator lobby. from the complex’s parking lot, KHOU 11. reported.
