The video was about people going to really dangerous places just to take selfies. But the most shocking thing was when a woman visiting Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA, was about to find herself in a situation that endangered her life. Her quick thinking ultimately saved his life, but the video isn’t easy to watch.

In the viral video, you can clearly see a lady in a national park who got dangerously close to a wild bison just to take a selfie. Then, in the blink of an eye, as he was trying to take her selfie, the bison suddenly charged straight towards her.

What did the woman do to save herself from the attacking bison?

While the man accompanying her quickly fled to safety, the lady was not so lucky, at least not at that time. She showed off her ingenuity and proved that when nothing else works, you have to “play dead.” She immediately lay down on the field and didn’t make any movement.

The bison remained for a while next to the lady on the ground. People watching recorded this tense moment from afar, while others shouted and tried to get the bison’s attention. The animal approached her, paused for a moment, and then, shortly after, the bison ran off, apparently having lost her interest.

According to the post, “The National Park Service (NPS) advises people visiting Yellowstone National Park to stay at least 25 yards (23 meters) away from bison and elk at all times. Although they are not usually aggressive, they are wild animals and can be unpredictable.”
