Yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong shot her love rival in the heart as the cyclist screamed in horror: prosecutors

Yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong allegedly stood next to her love rival and shot him in the heart as the professional cyclist screamed in terror, prosecutors said during opening statements.

Armstrong, 35, who fled to Costa Rica after the alleged love triangle murder, appeared somber in court while wearing a blue button-down shirt and a dark-colored jacket to hear opening statements.

Travis County Prosecutor Rickey Jones recalled the moment Anna Moriah Wilson, known as Mo, took her last breath screaming after Armstrong allegedly shot her multiple times while standing over the woman.

“The last thing Mo did on this earth was scream in terror,” Jones told jurors. “And you will hear those screams.”

Audio of the alleged murder was played in court, according to NewsNation reporter Alex Caprariello. It is unclear whether Wilson’s screams were audible.

The screams are reportedly followed by a “pop” sound, Jones said, and then silence.
