There were a total of nine divisions in which nine bodybuilders were crowned separately. The nine divisions are Men’s Open, Bodybuilding 212, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Women’s Physique, Women’s Bodybuilding, Bikini, Figure and Wellness. Last year’s New York Pro winner Blessing Awodibu did not compete this year. That means it was certain that we would get a new champion in the Open division. Prior to Blessing Awodibu, Nick Walker won gold at 2021 New York Pro. Nick Walker also opted out of 2023 New York Pro Bodybuilding to be prepared for November.
