On May 13, two more nuclear tests were carried out under the leadership of the late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, establishing India as an official member of the exclusive club of nuclear-powered nations.
However, the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization did not stop there. On the same day, they tested their first indigenous aircraft, the Hansa-3, and successfully fired the Trishul missile.
