The video shows a clever traveler who developed a novel technique to make room for himself and sleep in a crowded railway carriage. In the video you can see a young man resting happily in an improvised hammock made with a sheet, which he anchored on all four sides to the upper beds of the coach.
This unique method of seeking pleasure in the midst of chaos has delighted social media users and the clip has had more than 900,000 views on Instagram since it was posted on August 26.

The video begins with a typical view inside a crowded Indian local train, with people struggling to find a comfortable space to sleep or sit. Suddenly, attention is focused on a man who appears to be having the most pleasant dream of his life.
“A local trip,” commented the user who shared the video, while Anirudh Ravichander’s song ‘Hukum’ from Rajnikanth’s recent film Jailer plays in the background.
Fans on social media were captivated by the ingenious homemade hammock idea and shared their hilarious reactions to the video. One user commented on the video saying: “He trusts his blanket more than the train.”

Several videos have appeared online in the past showing people using jugaad to simplify their lives, much like this man. A video showing a man using a makeshift seat on a crowded train had previously gone viral.
As the carriages seemed to be completely full, he wisely decided to make himself a temporary hammock out of the sheet. The man in the video attached one end of the sheet to a luggage rack and the other to the top bunk seat.
He then climbed into the hammock with ease and surprised his fellow travelers and social media followers with his ingenuity.
